My name is Walker Miller and I'd like to personally welcome you to my company's website. Your home is the single most important investment you'll ever make. Miller Family Homes was created as a better option to investors and homebuyers seeking custom homes in the Charlotte NC area.

My construction experience began at an early age. I grew up in the Peachtree Corners area of Atlanta during the early 1980's. My dad was a builder at the time and I always loved to be outside and watch the building process from start to finish. From early on I had the itch to be a General Contractor and eventually, after years of school and hard work, it all fell into place.

I graduated from East Carolina University in 2001 and spent some time learning abroad before relocating to Charlotte, NC in 2003. I have seen the "ups" and "downs" of being an active investor in the uptown Charlotte area since 2004 and understand the needs of homeowners and investors in this current housing market. I have been a licensed General Contractor since 2003 and also worked as a superintendent for a local/regional builder for five years. Sustainable building has always been a high priority and I am excited about building as a LEED AP (Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design) with new construction and remodeling in the Charlotte area.

I've made excellent contacts in the local community and have unparallelled relationships with local trade partners, realtors, and vendors. I'm very excited about the opportunities available in the Charlotte area and look forward to what the future holds.
